Here are some of the videos Shnook likes to watch on a daily basis, sometimes multi-daily. Most of these 'tastes' were cultivated by his Dad, and he kinda ran with them- to our delight/dismay. I've omitted the steam and diesel train videos and the planes taking off because...well they're just too boring. Hope you enjoy!
The Last Days Of The Routemaster
This is an old favorite that Shnook started watching over a year ago when he began his bus obsession. I began searching for London buses and other buses in the U.K., thinking they'd be slightly more interesting than U.S. Buses but not QUITE as interesting as buses in India. We came across this little gem, with THE JAM to boot.
Boat Launches and Boat Launch Fails
Boat Launches are a relatively new obsession with the Shnook. I have to admit, some of them are a bit nail biting, and then there's this one which we call “Octaputa-puta” because of what the man says in Spanish at the end which is actually: “No te peudo creer” or “I cannot believe it.”
Bill Dance Fishing Bloopers
I have no idea how we found these, but Shnook particularly likes Bill Dance's non-swearing swearing. Expressions such as: “Sunny Jim!” “Dag Gum It!” “Golly!” and “Man, Alive!” are common in our house.
Syncro Vanagon Stuck In The Mud
This one is brand new- Shnook's 'security blanket' of sorts is a small Volkswagen bus matchbox car that I acquired back in 2001 on a roadtrip to Maine. He wants to sleep with it and bring it everywhere. It's companion is a '55 Chevy pick-up. Naturally, he now likes to watch videos of them on youtube. The Syncro Vanagon is not the same style but he loves the 'stuck in the mud' part and now adds that plot twist to all of his imaginary games with vehicles.
